Meet Our Staff
    Steve Locati

I grew up in the title business, starting when I was barely out of high school.  I have traveled and worked in title companies all through Washington and Alaska.  I have enjoyed many hobbies over the years depending on my location.  While in Alaska, I spent much of my spare time as a dog musher.  Although I did not race in the Iditarod, I knew the founder and his family very well.  Back in Washington, I traded in my husky dogs for iron dogs, as the Eskimos refer to snowmobiles.  My racers became family pets and it was not unusual to see a bunch of dogs all over the furniture!  My wife Peggy and I love Kittitas County as it has the exact pace of life that we are looking for.  We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful staff and consider them our family—some of them actually are!

After spending 15 years in the banking industry, I was hired by Chicago Title in Everett, Washington.  I quickly grew to love the title industry and was pleased by the constant challenges.  I met my husband at that office and after we married, we decided to move to Kittitas County.  We chose this place because at first it was a midpoint between my family in Renton and Steve’s family in Walla Walla.  It has never felt like any kind of compromise…..you could not remove us with dynamite now.  We love this valley and all the people we have met.  I love to take advantage of all that Kittitas County has to offer, snowmobiling, ATV riding, hiking, boating and just sitting and enjoying the outdoors….even in the wind!

    Julie Adams

My name is Julie Adams, and I am what most consider a Local Ellensburger. I have lived in the Kittitas Valley for 32 years. My family is originally from the Midwest. We moved to Kittitas County in 1976. Although I have seen many changes and a lot of growth, I still Love this Town. I’m married to a wonderful man and together we have 5 children. 3 of which attend Valley View Elementary and 2 that are in Jr. High at Morgan Middle School. We both are very busy and trust me; there is never a dull moment in our home.  I enjoy all outside activities, especially gardening. The children are active in sports and their school stuff so that keeps us on the go. My husband works for the County as Shop Foreman for public works road crew and I have been employed with Stewart Title for 3 years. I enjoy my job and have developed great friendships with the people I work with, and consider them my second family.

Le Rae Gaidos

Hi my name is LeRae Gaidos. I was born in raised in beautiful Upper Kittitas County, where I enjoy hiking, boating and spending time with my friends and family. Shortly after I graduated from Cle Elum Roslyn High School in 2005 I began working at a real estate office in Cle Elum. I took real estate courses in order to obtain my real estate license. I worked there as a licensed assistant for 1 ½ years, until they closed their doors in June 2007. I was then given the wonderful opportunity of working with the great team here at Stewart Title. I work in the escrow department as an assistant to Sheila Weed.

I was born and raised in Ephrata Washington where I started my career working for Chicago Title Insurance Company. In 2001 I moved to Ellensburg to attend Central Washington University and further my career while also working at Stewart Title of Kittitas County.  While attending school I worked part time as a court house runner and word processor which helped me gain experience and a better understanding of the business.  When I graduated in 2004 I remained a part of the Stewart Title team and moved into the examining department where I find myself today.  In my spare time I enjoy traveling, spending time outdoors and with my family and friends. shandra.garrison@stewart.com

I grew up in Redmond, WA when Redmond was “small town America.” After living there for 18 years, I moved to Searcy, Arkansas where I attended Harding University for 4 years. I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Advertising in 1999. I came back home to a completely different Redmond where I got my very first “real” job with Microsoft in the Windows Media department. I met my husband shortly after moving back home. We were married six short months after we met. We moved to Odessa, WA in December of 1999 during which time I got my real estate license. We moved to Ellensburg in June of 2000 and it has been our home ever since. I immediately went to work for a local real estate agency as a Realtor. I took some time off and then came back to work as a licensed assistant to a broker/owner of a large real estate agency in Ellensburg for 3 years. In my time as a real estate agent, I was able to experience the closing process with all of the local title companies. When deciding to change my focus in the real estate industry, I chose to work for the company that always gave me the best service. I started at Stewart Title as an escrow assistant. Early in my career here, I shifted gears to Customer Service and Marketing. It is my joy to help customers and help organize events. In 2007, I was honored to be voted Affiliate of the Year by the Kittitas County Association of Realtors.

In my free time I love teaching Jazzercise, spending time with my three beautiful children and husband, teaching bible class to toddlers, reading and being outside.

I feel very lucky to be a part of the Stewart Title Crew in Ellensburg. We all work hard, but we have fun doing it!
