It’s time to talk about testimonials again!
If you read this blog regularly, you know we often reference statistics from our friends at the National Association of REALTORS® showing the high number of buyers and sellers who use agents. Those figures last year were at 88% for buyers and 91% for sellers (a new record).
But here’s another component of that data our agent friends should know – buyers and sellers are overwhelmingly pleased with their investment in a professional and most would recommend their REALTOR® to their family and friends. You should make it easy for them to do that.
As the spring season kicks off, we want to make sure the people we love working with regularly are seen in all their glory! That’s why this blog is all about mastering customer testimonials.
Need some advice on how to best collect reviews these days? This guide can help. We’ve talked before about how today’s consumers – across every generation – trust online reviews as much as personal referrals, and here’s why. Testimonials offer real, relatable proof that others in similar situations have had positive experiences with you. Unlike traditional marketing messages, testimonials come from actual clients, and that authenticity matters in the modern marketplace.
In years past, we’ve talked about strategies to make sure you were collecting the kind words that were on the tip of your happy clients’ tongues. But in 2026, getting a review is only doing half the job. It’s also paramount that you’re actually broadcasting these testimonials to the audiences that need to hear them. Put them on your website – and don’t forget to update them from time to time – and post them on social media, perhaps in video form, or place them in your listing pitch. All are great ways to make sure you’re effectively amplifying a positive review.
Finally, be sure to guide your best clients where you want them to go. What we mean is there are a lot of places – both and not so happy – where people can leave reviews (Google, Facebook, Zillow, your website, Realtor.com, etc.). If you’re trying to build up your rating on a certain platform, make sure your people know that desire.
All of our teams are ready for the busy season to continue, but no matter what happens, we’ll always be here for your title and settlement needs. Ready to share what makes working with us so special? Your favorite branch would love a review on Google or its Facebook page!
